21-yr-Old Made Impressive GQ-Style Magazine Resume, Got Hired Without Interview
He made a 20-page resume that looked exactly like the magazine. Resume earned him a dream job without interview
Graduates generally say that it’s difficult to get a job or crack an interview as they are freshers. Having no experience is a real drawback when it comes to getting a job. But this 21-year-old man from Bangalore, Sumukh Mehta, managed to impress the world’s renowned men’s magazine, GQ, with his resumé. The management found his resume to be so creatively done that they took him without an interview . We all know that resumé is a very important factor for getting a job in reputed companies. As we have a habit of following the tradition of what has been done by others. Following the crowd and using similar templates for making Resume. The majority of the candidate have the basic qualification necessary for the position but to be selected we need to stand out and to do so the candidates need to showcase their relevant skill sets.
Significance
Rather than telling that you are capable of such things must show them the results. That you have a particular skill and that you are capable of delivering on your promise. Actions speak louder than words. Be creative. Be different. It’s always better to submit a live project or report that shows you are really good at something. Try to project an image that you are different from others. You need to stand out to make yourself noticeable from the noise.
